Changing your entry

You can change distance, category or the named skier free of charge until 1 March 2027. After that, each change costs a 10 euro handling fee.

If you move from a cheaper distance or category to a more expensive one, you pay the difference in the entry fee. If you move from a more expensive one to a cheaper one, the difference is not refunded.

Illness

If you fall ill, you can move your entry to next year for 10 euros. Write to info@jyvaskylaskimarathon.fi. Include your name, distance, technique and category if you have one. The transfer fee is invoiced after the event.

If the event is cancelled

If the event has to be cancelled because of conditions or force majeure, 50% of the entry fee is refunded, or you can move your entry to next year. An entry can be moved only once. After that the fee is not refunded.

If the course has to be shortened because of poor snow or another reason outside our control, the entry fee is not refunded. There is no right to a discount or other compensation.

If snow conditions or another exceptional situation make the race uncertain, we will say on this website and on social media when the decision will be made, or if the race is cancelled. Changes and cancellations follow the rules of the Finnish Ski Association (Suomen Hiihtoliitto).
