Jyväskylä Ski Marathon

will be skied on Saturday 7 March, 2026 on a wonderful ski route from Jyväskylä to Laukaa. The Jyväskylä Ski Marathon is part of the Euroloppet series. There are three trips available for skiers. The 45 km route is skied from Vaajakoski to Peurunka.

The 35km route, easier in terms of terrain, is also skied from Vaajakoski to Peurunka. The finish line of both distances is located at spa hotel Peurunka.

ONLINE REGISTRATION IS OPEN UNTIL 4.3.2025 at 23:59. You can still register on Fri 6.3. in race office at Vaajakoski! Payment by bank card or cash.

NOTE! No late registration on the event day, Saturday 7 March 2026!

Service points

There are 4 service points on the 45 km route and 4 on the 35 km route. Squeezy sports drink, water, juice, pickles and raisins are available at the service stations.

Equipment transport and bus transport

Car parking

In the 45km and 35km starting area, Vaajakoski has parking spaces only for skiers of the 45km classic style start. Other participants are advised to drive their cars to the spa hotel in Peurunka, from where we will arrange transportation to Vaajakoski. Transport price €12/person. Transportation is free for those staying in Peurunka. Parking in both Vaajakoski and Peurunka are free.

Waxing service

Swix offers ski waxing service at Jyväskylä Ski Marathon both before the start and during the race!

Bring your skis for waxing on Friday, March 6, between 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM. The waxing service is located at Vaajakoski sports field, right next to the race office.

Pre-booking must be made via this link by March 5, 2026 at 4:00 PM.

During the race, Swix will also provide free service at the Kangaslampi, Ampujien Maja, and Vihtavuori service stations.



Equipment transportation

The participation fee includes equipment transportation from the starting point to the finish.
